As the display device market moves towards Quad-HD resolution, the next generation of digital TVs and projectors need to input Quad-HD content from standardized interfaces such as HDMI 1.4 or DisplayPort 1.2 and blend it with their graphical user interface. 4xHD compositing is Marseille’s technology that blends two Quad High-Definition streams to overlay high-quality graphics over native Quad-HD video content.

4xHD Motion-Adaptive

Marseille’s motion-adaptive per-pixel noise-reduction adjusts according to the degree of motion in the image to provide the optimal effect without the artifacts generated by traditional noise filters. Marseille’s robust pixel-level motion detection algorithm performs thorough analysis to provide detailed motion information which enables accurate adaptive noise reduction filtering. As a result, artifacts are selectively removed while preserving stunning image detail.

4xHD Scaling

4xHD scaling is Marseille’s proprietary scaling technology that can scale standard and high-definition content to Quad High-Definition (2160p) resolution to deliver imagery of outstanding clarity and sharpness for a truly realistic and immersive viewing experience.
